Tell the provider whether the vehicle will not start, whether lights or accessories work, and what type of vehicle you drive. You do not have to identify the fault yourself. A jump-start request does not guarantee that the battery is the only problem.
Ask whether the provider can assist your make and model and what happens if a jump does not get the vehicle running. Mention any manufacturer-specific instructions. If roadside assistance is not suitable, discuss towing as a separate option.
